The ultra-fast compiler, introduced in version 2025, is used for building PowerServer projects in the solution format. As a result, full builds are at least 2-3 times faster, while incremental builds are even quicker, compared to building PowerServer projects in equivalent workspace format. This explains why the "Cursory (Ultra-fast) build" option is no longer needed and is disabled for PowerServer projects created in the solution format.
