Dumping the Database

For this section please make sure that you have installed the PostgreSQL Demo Database when you installed PowerBuilder. If you don’t want to/can’t reinstall PowerBuilder to add the PostgreSQL Demo Database, you can obtain it from here and skip this section.

Open pgAdmin, and right-click the PBDemoDB2025 and then Backup. Set the following options:

  • General Tab

    • Format: Tar

    • Encoding: UTF8

  • Data/Objects

    • Do not Save: Privilege

Then click Backup.
