When the PowerServer Web APIs is running, the license information will be automatically activated by the Appeon license server. Make sure the machine where PowerServer Web APIs is running can connect with the license server. Refer to Activating PowerServer license for more details.
Appeon uses a combination of strategies including master-slave load balancing, backup servers, multi-cloud infrastructure, and internal strict early warning mechanism to ensure the high efficiency and reliability of the license server.
Note
Please grant read and write rights to the root directory where PowerServer Web APIs is hosted, for example, when deploying to IIS, read and write rights are required by the "[solutionname]_API" sub-folder; this is to ensure when PowerServer is unable to connect with the license server (for example, due to a network problem), PowerServer can still run for a short period of time.
If the user has insufficient rights to manipulate the relevant folder, the event log will record errors like this: Access to powerserver\licoffdata.bin is denied.
