PowerBuilder Runtime must be installed first before you can install PBAutoBuild, as PBAutoBuild requires a runtime to run.
Note that the runtime files from the runtime packager are not sufficient for PBAutoBuild to run; you need to install PowerBuilder Runtime by following instructions in the section called “Installing PowerBuilder Runtime” in Application Techniques or install PowerBuilder Runtime in the silent mode by following instructions in the section called “Installing in Silent (Unattended) Mode” in Installation Guide.
Note
To compile and deploy PowerServer projects via PBAutoBuild, you will also need to have PowerServer Toolkit installed.
