It is recommended that PowerBuilder IDE, PowerBuilder Runtime, PowerServer Toolkit, and PowerBuilder Utilities are the same version and build.

Note

You must have administrator privileges to run the PowerBuilder Installer and install some components.

Build, deploy, and publish the PowerServer project in PowerBuilder IDE

  • Windows 11 or 10 (Version 1607 or later), or Windows Server 2022, 2019, or 2016

  • PowerBuilder Utilities 2022 R2 (PBAutoBuild220.exe is included in PowerBuilder Utilities)

  • PowerBuilder Runtime 2022 R2

  • PowerServer Toolkit 2022 R2

Build and deploy the PowerServer project using PBAutoBuild220.exe

(The PBAutoBuild220.exe tool can automate the entire build and deploy process outside PowerBuilder IDE (without needing any PowerBuilder license).)

  • Windows 11 or 10 (Version 1607 or later)

  • SnapDevelop 2022 or Visual Studio 2019

    The computer must be able to connect to the NuGet site (https://www.nuget.org), in order to download the packages required for compilation.
