Note: This is required for the Web application only.
When you run a PowerServer Web application for the first time, the Appeon Xcelerator plug-in (for improving the runtime performance of Web applications) must be downloaded to the client.

If using the Edge, Firefox, Chrome, or Opera Web browser, you can log into the machine as a normal user, because you need no special privileges to download and install the Appeon Xcelerator plug-in.

If using Internet Explorer, then different Internet Explorer versions require different privileges for installing the Appeon Xcelerator plug-in.
If using IE 8.0 or 9.0 on Windows 7 or later, you can log into the machine as a normal user, because you need no special privileges to download and register the Appeon Xcelerator plug-in. However, if using IE 7.0 or earlier, you must log in as a member of the Administrator group so you have the permissions to successfully download and register the Appeon Xcelerator plug-in.
