IDE Crash while editing a special DataWindow

Symptom

PB IDE crashes while users edit a special DataWindow in.

Environment

PowerBuilder 2017 or later

Cause

This is a Sybase legacy issue. SQL containing the following special comment statement causes the problem: 

--, (select isnull((clienti_memo.id_cliente_memo),0)

Solution

Delete the comment statement from SQL;

Or remove the first open parenthesis in the comment statement.
