You may encounter the following known issues in this release. We are working diligently to resolve them in the coming releases.
PowerBuilder 2022 R3 Build 3289 has the following known issues:
-
If both the PowerBuilder Installer and the Beta Installer are installed on the same machine under the same administrator account, there will be only one shortcut menu ("Appeon PowerBuilder Installer") created in the Windows Start menu, and the shortcut menu will always point to the installer which is last run. For example, if PowerBuilder Installer is last run, it will point to the PowerBuilder Installer, and later if Beta Installer is run, it will change to point to Beta Installer, and vice versa.

After you enable TabbedView for an MDI window, PowerBuilder will automatically add a TabbedBar control to the window and allow you to access some properties. However, the TabbedBar control can only be used to implement the TabbedView feature in the current version. Please do not add the TabbedBar control manually or call its function/event/property, except the properties listed in Displaying sheets in tabbed view.
-
When TabbedView is enabled, maximizing or shrinking the MDI frame window will only cause the active sheet (initially opened at the maximized state) to maximize or shrink, the other sheets will not. For example, if the MDI frame window is opened (NOT at the maximized state) and then sheets are opened at the maximized state, and if the MDI frame window is maximized manually, only the active sheet will be maximized, the other opened sheets will not. And similarly, if the MDI frame window is opened at the maximized state and then sheets are opened at the maximized state initially, if the MDI frame window is shrunk manually, only the active sheet will be shrunk, the other opened sheets will not.

In the PowerBuilder Runtime Packager 2022 R3, if you select PowerBuilder 64-bit Components, and then select a 2022 R1 or R2 runtime (such as 22.0.0.xxxx or 22.1.0.xxxx) as the PowerBuilder Runtime Version, the generated runtime package will not include the following files for TX Text Control ActiveX Version 30: tx4ole30.ocx, tx30.dll, tx30_css.dll, tx30_doc.dll, tx30_dox.dll, tx30_htm, tx30_ic.dll, tx30_obj.dll, tx30_pdf.dll, tx30_rtf.dll, tx30_tls.dll, tx30_wnd.dll, tx30_xlx.dll, and tx30_xml.
Workaround: You can manually copy these files from the runtime folder, or download PowerBuilderRuntime.exe for 2022 R1 or R2 from the PowerBuilder Installer.

The theme.json file under Lime and Orange styles has a different build number from the GA build (however, this has no impact).
