Check user directory permissions

  • Verify that the current Windows user has full control permissions over the IDE directory. Pay particular attention to the Initialization path (default is C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Appeon\PowerBuilder xx.0).

  • We recommend trying “Run as administrator” to start PowerBuilder IDE and see if the issue disappears.
