This topic describes how to uninstall PowerBuilder Installer manually.
PowerBuilder Installer is not provided with an uninstall program. To uninstall the installer, you need to delete the following items manually.

Delete the installation directory of PowerBuilder Installer

In 32-bit OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon

In 64-bit OS: C:\Program Files\Appeon
Note
Different versions of Installer are located in different installation directories.

For PowerBuilder Installer (English version): PowerBuilder Installer

For PowerBuilder Installer (Japanese version): PowerBuilder Installer (JP)

For PowerBuilder Installer Beta (English version): PowerBuilder Installer Beta

For PowerBuilder Installer Beta (Japanese version): PowerBuilder Installer Beta (JP)
For example, if you want to uninstall the English version of PowerBuilder Installer in a 32-bit operating system, you need to delete the installation directory in C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\PowerBuilder Installer.

Delete the registry entries
Open the Registry Editor, you can find the registry entries in the directory of Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Appeon\Installer.
For different versions of Installer, there are corresponding folders with registry entries in this directory. You can choose to delete the registry entries.

Delete the shortcut in Start Menu
The directory of the shortcut in Start Menu is C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
After PowerBuilder Installer is installed, the shortcut will be generated in Start Menu. As soon as you delete the installation directory of PowerBuilder Installer, the shortcut becomes invalid.
