Stop the Web server and any other programs before beginning the upgrade process.

If PowerServer Web Component is installed to multiple Web servers, repeat the upgrade steps for the PowerServer Web Component on each Web server.
Upgrade instructions
There is no Setup program for upgrading PowerServer Web Component on Unix/Linux. You can directly copy the PowerServer Web Component source files to the Web root (or document root) of Web server on Unix/Linux.
Step 1: Locate the AppeonWebComponent.tar file in the AppeonWebComponent folder on the PowerServer installation program.
Step 2: Decompress the AppeonWebComponent.tar file into the Web root (or document root) of the Web server. For example, the document root of Apache 1.3 is $Apache/htdocs.
