PowerBuilder includes a standalone SQL Anywhere database called the Demo Database. Unless you clear this option in the setup program, the database is installed automatically. You access tables in the Demo Database when you use the PowerBuilder tutorial.
A SQL Anywhere database is considered an ODBC data source, because you access it with the SQL Anywhere ODBC driver.
