You can access the IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) database version 10.x/12.x/14.x using the PowerBuilder INF Informix database interfaces. You can also access Informix OnLine and Informix Standard Engine (SE) databases.
The INF interface in PBI10.dll requires the Informix Client SDK 2.9 or later for Informix application development and Informix Connect 2.9 or later for runtime deployment.
Note
Informix 14 no longer provides a 32-bit client version and only includes the 64-bit Informix Client SDK 4.50. For 32-bit applications, IBM recommends using the 32-bit Informix Client SDK 4.10 (such as 4.10.TC or 4.10.UC) to connect to Informix 14 servers.
